Damnoen Saduak’s famous Floating Market you’ll spend morning drifting through the waterways and observing the traditions of the local people who’s daily routines are reminiscent of what life was like centuries ago all over Thailand. Your senses will be overwhelmed by the sights, sounds and smells of the market as you float gently through the midst of the hustle and bustle of locals selling everything imaginable from their longtail boats. You may be lucky enough to pick up a bargain or two from one of the many brightly coloured stalls that line the market. You’ll also have time to stroll through the maze of stalls before heading over to the vibrant Umbrella Market which is situated on the train tracks nearby. Many brightly coloured, hand-painted parasols adorn the stalls here, each one uniquely beautiful. You’ll return to Khaosan Road, around 14:00PM.
